Instagram-tastic

So, I’ve been gone for a while. Lots of work at school (I’m a graduate student), and then lots of travelling (both business and personal – I’ll have been home a total of 21 days in 2 months when I finally get home from my next couple trips) kind of swept away my blogging time. I have, however, still been making stuff! So I’ve got some fun projects to share here in the near future. In the meantime, here’s some of what I’ve been up to (largely from instagram – follow me at )

 A quilt I made for a cousin’s baby shower

Chihily blown glass at the Dallas Arboretum (we saw it at day and night time – amazing!)

-4: We went to a Young House Love book signing in Dallas (since we were out of town for the Austin one) and got them to sign an awesome ceramic squirrel from target

I got a new jacket and boots for my birthday

Eddie and I made our first Thanksgiving dinner (for 14 people!)

 Lots of plane flights!

 A white Christmas in Dallas!

I did 12 days of Christmas presents for Eddie and made cute tags for the gifts (although I actually started at zero like a good engineer)

-11: Homemade Christmas presents for my parents

I visited anthropologie for the first time and fell in love with everything but the prices. I have some diy plans in the works, though!

-16: I had a business trip in Japan and took a few personal days there to explore (and buy lots of stationary and fabric!)

-20: A week in Colorado visiting my grandpa and going snowboarding

If you use instagram, I’m and would love to check you out!
