Today, I decided to give away lots of colorful zippers. They are one of my favorite sewing/craft supplies, especially in fun colors like this!

I was lucky enough to find a ton of zippers at a fantastic price from a seamstress going out of business last summer. And so now I’m going to share some with you! I’m sharing about 125 zippers, split among a total of 5 winners. Yes – there are 5 chances to win a rainbow of 25 zippers each! Each winner will get an assortment of nylon and metal zippers including a wide range of colors (each winner will get one of most of the colors shown in these pictures) from 7″ to 22.” If you win and really want something in particular (color/metal vs nylon/length), I’ll do my best to help you out, but may have a limited quantity available depending on how specific you are. To enter, leave one comment telling me your favorite thing about spring (or whatever season it’s becoming in your part of the world!). And please leave an email address so I can contact you if you win! While I’d love for you to follow me through , , , and/or , none of those will help you win any zippers 🙂

    I’m newbie to this blog over from the sewmamasew link. It’s currently Autumn in Melbourne, although it feels like winter. My favourite part about Autumn is the changing colours of the leaves and how pretty the streets look, not the part where you have to sweep them up though!

  40. I am experiencing spring on the East Coast for the first time this year. And I have to say it is wonderful! Most of my other springs were in the desert and only last about 2 weeks before it got super hot! lol

  44. Good morning from Minnesota! My favorite thing about spring is putting the dock back in the lake. The sound of the water after the ice melts off is awesome every time!

  62. my favorite thing about spring this year is that i am attempting to grow tomatoes from seeds!! i had 33 of them sprout and grow into plants, 22 of them have been given to new homes and i am growing 11 right now. i’m so excited because it is the first time i have EVER grown anything and not killed it within a week. mother nature is such a wonderful and amazing thing, and i’m getting a firsthand look at it’s wonder in growing my own food!

There is a beautiful floral scent, a mix of a few different blooms, that invades my neighborhood.   407. I love spring here in Oxfordshire because the local woods are filled with bluebells. It wasn’t as spectacular as it can be this year because the weather has been too dry and then too cold but nevertheless still pretty.

  524. oh my gosh! i’ve been using so many zippers to make little pouches lately that i’m going broke! i love spring… it’s all about the weather for me, and getting to wear flats, and not having to worry about cold, wet feet!

  550. What fun! I love zippers! I’m always looking for zippers the right length, the right color, etc. and then having to make a trip to the fabric store.

    Favorite spring thing? Lilacs. But they don’t grow where I live. I was lucky enough to visit my daughter in Utah when they were blooming this year and see my granddaughter and newborn grandson all at the same time. Doesn’t get much better than that.

  555. It’s late spring here in Washington State, and my favorite thing is the irises that are blooming all around my neighborhood. I mostly see the lilac & violet ones, but I saw some sunny yellow ones the other day. Thanks for the chance to win!

I’m really a Fall kind-of-girl and like being able to layer clothes or wear a cardigan if it’s a little breezy. I pretty much wilt in the Summer, but Spring is a-okay in my books since everything is so fresh and new (although I could probably live without all the rain).

  569. I made a zipper pouch like that too! Keep dice in it in my purse to make my kids to math games when we are stuck somewhere. Anyway I love the lilacs and peonys in spring.
