My name is Julia, and I live in College Station, Texas with my {fantastic} husband Eddie (who chimes in here from time to time) and our adorable puppy EVE (like in Wall-E!). I’m an engineering graduate student and a Christian, and I love spending my free time making things for my family, friends, and home. I have a bit of crafty OCD, so this ranges from sewing to baking to crochet to electronics to paper crafting to good old power tools and glue guns.

I’ve gained most of my crafty skills and inspiration from wonderful bloggers out there who share their ideas and techniques online – and I hope this blog gives a little of that back to you

A few random facts about me:

• I have my SCUBA certification and almost finished my skydiving license.
• I’ve been to 64 countries and all seven continents.
• After reaching college without ever having seen a firearm (growing up in Texas!), I ended up being the president of my university’s pistol team for a couple years and shooting at a national tournament.
