Clay Letter Bowls
This was the last of three projects I made for my Package Pals swap partner last month: a clay letter bowl.

I’d seen this idea on pinterest, and loved the idea. I wanted to use oven bake clay though, and did things a bit differently (I want to make some more for myself soon – I’ll put together a tutorial when I do!)

My swap partner’s last name starts with an S, so that’s the letter I chose, and I engraved her name in the side before baking (mostly blurred in case she doesn’t want to share her last name with the interwebs)

Amazing idea. I am just curious about one thing though. What difference does it make if we use oven baked clay vs air dry clay for this project.
Not much probably – I’m comfortable using oven baked clay and had some on hand.
Thanks for stopping by CountryMommaCooks and linking up at our Saturday Link and Greet Party…hope to see you again tonight : )

Thank you for finding my Alphabet Containers! I’ve been away on vacation and thought it was really fun to see them spread! They’re addicting, aren’t they!? I came up with this idea originally for the children’s teachers but couldn’t stop! We’ll share them again later this year. Wishing you continued creative days!

This is a really cute idea! So sweet that you picked the letter of her name to really personalize it! Thanks so much for sharing at the Pinworthy Projects Party!
What a great idea! It’d be fun to make one for each of my kids’ desks. I’m hosting a linky party “One Creative Weekend” at OneCreativeMommy.com. I’d love for you to visit and link up this idea and/or anything else you’d like to share.
This is too cute!
This is fantastic, it looks so professsional, what a great idea.
