May Giveaway Day – Zippers!

Today, I decided to give away lots of colorful zippers. They are one of my favorite sewing/craft supplies, especially in fun colors like this!
I was lucky enough to find a ton of zippers at a fantastic price from a seamstress going out of business last summer. And so now I’m going to share some with you! I’m sharing about 125 zippers, split among a total of 5 winners. Yes – there are 5 chances to win a rainbow of 25 zippers each! Each winner will get an assortment of nylon and metal zippers including a wide range of colors (each winner will get one of most of the colors shown in these pictures) from 7″ to 22.” If you win and really want something in particular (color/metal vs nylon/length), I’ll do my best to help you out, but may have a limited quantity available depending on how specific you are. To enter, leave one comment telling me your favorite thing about spring (or whatever season it’s becoming in your part of the world!). And please leave an email address so I can contact you if you win! While I’d love for you to follow me through a feed reader, facebook, twitter, and/or pinterest, none of those will help you win any zippers 
Since these are fun colors and a variety of lengths, they’d be great for zipper pouches, clothes, and a variety of other projects. Try out the zip-up pouch I made (shown below) with just a 20″ zipper and piece of ribbon!

I’m so impressed that you took the time to tell us about yourself and showcase some projects in this post… I always forget to do that! And thanks for the zipper ideas as well, that picture of the cat cuddling a cat-shaped pouch is adorable! It is about to be summer here, and I am looking forward to staying at the little cabin on a pond we bought last year!
I made a zipper pouch like that too! Keep dice in it in my purse to make my kids to math games when we are stuck somewhere. Anyway I love the lilacs and peonys in spring.

My favourite things about Spring are the flowers and the fact that it’s not too hot yet! I’m really a Fall kind-of-girl and like being able to layer clothes or wear a cardigan if it’s a little breezy. I pretty much wilt in the Summer, but Spring is a-okay in my books since everything is so fresh and new (although I could probably live without all the rain).

I love being able to spend time in my garden and eating the first things from my vegtable patch, like raddish and tomatos!
It’s late spring here in Washington State, and my favorite thing is the irises that are blooming all around my neighborhood. I mostly see the lilac & violet ones, but I saw some sunny yellow ones the other day. Thanks for the chance to win!

I love zippers – I buy them 50 at a time, LOLLLLLL! It’s spring here right now, but starting to feel like summer – I like this “between” time as we don’t need the furnace OR the a/c right now!
What fun! I love zippers! I’m always looking for zippers the right length, the right color, etc. and then having to make a trip to the fabric store.
Favorite spring thing? Lilacs. But they don’t grow where I live. I was lucky enough to visit my daughter in Utah when they were blooming this year and see my granddaughter and newborn grandson all at the same time. Doesn’t get much better than that.

My favorite thing about spring is its time to get the veggie garden ready so we have veggies for the summer. That and it’s not too hot and not to cold.

I LOVE the spring flowers. We have lovely blooming dogwoods and azaleas in my area, along with plenty of other flowers I can’t name. Gorgeous!
We’re about to begin winter here in Brisbane… I love the reprieve from the sweat and heat of summer! Snuggles and hot drinks without it getting all that cold here.
